 Grand River Hospital family lodgeThe Grand River Hospital family lodge supports out-of-town and local patients, as well as family and friends wishing to stay close to the hospital and their loved ones. The lodge provides guests with bedding and an equipped kitchen. All facilities in the lodge are shared. As the lodge is not staffed, guests must be 18 years of age and physically and mentally able to care for themselves.
The lodge is approximately five to ten minutes walking distance from the Grand River Hospital's KW Site and the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.

Boardwalk Homes Executive Guest Houses
These brand new houses are very close to the hospitals, located on 1292 and 1297 Countrystone Dr. Kitchener. Boardwalk Homes offer daily and weekly accommodation for out-of-town patients, families and their friends. Guests have full use of the modern and fully equipped kitchen, four living areas, laundry, fireplace and patio. Digital cable, Internet and a business station are also included. Housekeeping is provided to daily guests. A self-cater breakfast (eggs, fruits, breads, hot and cold cereal, pancake, maple syrup, peanut butter, butter, jam, juices NOT from concentrate, milk, coffee & tea) is also included.
The following amenities are within walking distance to Boardwalk Homes; Tim Horton’s, Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Empire Theatre, banks, Pharma Plus, Shoppers Drugmart, Food Basics, Blockbuster, Winners, The Beer Store and Canadian tire.

Daily $69 to $99/room (shared bathroom and ensuite bathroom, there are 5 bathrooms in each house). Weekly and long-term discounts are available.
