Nuclear medicine

Nuclear medicine is a diagnostic service that uses very small amounts of radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease.

St. Mary’s General Hospital operates the Kitchener-Waterloo Regional Nuclear Medicine Program. This program offers service out of both Grand River Hospital’s KW Site and St. Mary's General Hospital.

All requests for nuclear medicine procedures are received through St. Mary's General Hospital at 519-749-6495.
