In compliance with the Excellent Care for All Act, 2010 Grand River Hospital measures the patient experience with care. One of the ways Grand River Hospital measures the patient experience is to regularly survey our patients and their families using a standard survey from the National Research Corporation Canada coordinated through the Ontario Hospital Association. Grand River Hospital uses the survey results to determine which areas we should focus on to improve the quality of care we provide.
The following depicts Grand River Hospital’s performance on percent positive scores to the following questions:
1. “Overall, how would you rate the care you received at the hospital?” Response “Good, Very Good and Excellent”
2. “Would you recommend this hospital to your family or friends?” Response “Definitely yes”
