We offer many services to support new families who have delivered at our hospital. These outpatient services are located on the third floor of the KW Site’s A wing, at 835 King Street West in Kitchener.
Breastfeeding support services
Breastfeeding support services (BFSS) is a hospital-based breastfeeding clinic staffed by a nurse practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) on the weekend. To read more about how we help families reach their breastfeeding goals, please click here.
Postbirth clinic (in partnership with the Region of Waterloo)
Part of the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program, the postbirth clinic offers assessments 48-72 hours after birth and information about community programs and services. For more information, please click here.

Postpartum mood disorders group
One out of 10 women who give birth will experience a postpartum mood disorder. We can help.
