Same day online/phone visit with an Emergency Doctor
We understand that during the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be hesitant to come to the Emergency Department. If your condition is serious and you cannot wait to see your family doctor, visiting the emergency department is an option for you. However, if your situation is not a medical emergency, there are other more appropriate options available to you including urgent care clinics.
Starting Wednesday, April 15 you also have the option to schedule a same day virtual assessment with a local ED physician if you have an urgent health concern (non-emergency) and do not wish to come to the emergency department. In a medical emergency, call 911 right away.
This clinic is temporarily closed. Please check back soon for more information. Other care options are available below.
If I'm not able to book an appointment, what other options are available?
Appointments are booked on a first come first served basis. If we cannot schedule an appointment, there are a number of other health care options available for you. Click here to learn more.
How is this service different than TeleHealth Ontario?
Your virtual appointment will take place through a video conference call with an emergency physician whereas Telehealth services are offered over the phone by a registered nurse.
