The cardio respiratory and electrodiagnostic services (CRES) (previously special testing) unit is made up of six labs providing a variety of cardio-respiratory and neurology tests.

All labs are located at Grand River Hospital’s KW Campus, at 835 King Street West in Kitchener.

Please enter the hospital through the main revolving doors. A volunteer will be happy to give you directions to the special testing unit.

Turn right after you pass the information desk and walk past the elevators. Walk up the ramp up towards the renal dialysis (kidney) area. Take the first left and the special testing unit is just a little ways down the hall on your right.

EMG testing is performed in the Forty Green building, on the east side of the KW Campus. An accessible entrance is available at 40 Green Street, on the east side of the hospital property.
