We are a community-based health facility that works in partnership with over 80 academic institutions and centres of education. We believe in supporting the development of future health care professionals and provide many opportunities for students to take part in learning at our hospital's campuses.
Student learning opportunities include:
- cooperative placements for college, university and high school students;
- clinical and medical internships; and
- allied health experiences for all disciplines.
Cooperative student placements are open to students who are enrolled in a co-op program through their university, college or high school.
Unpaid co-op placements
Requests for unpaid student co-op placements need to be submitted through a representative at the school/academic institution via email to the GRH student placement coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that the request must be submitted by the school; requests received from students will not be accepted.
Paid co-op placements
Applications for paid co-op placements need to be submitted through the careers section of our website.
Students who are not enrolled in a co-op program through their academic institution who are interested in gaining a valuable experience may investigate employment opportunities through the careers section of our website, and/or volunteer opportunities through the volunteer resources section of the website.
