Grand River Hospital is a community-based health facility that works in partnership with many academic institutions and centres of education. We believe in supporting the development of future healthcare professionals and provide many opportunities for students to take part in learning at our hospital's sites.
Student learning opportunities include:
- Cooperative placements for college, university and high school students;
- Clinical and medical internships, and
- Allied health experiences for all disciplines.
Cooperative student placements are only open to students who are enrolled in a coop program through their university, college, or high school.
Unpaid Coop Placements:
Requests for unpaid student coop placements need to be submitted through a representative at the academic institution via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Paid Coop Placements:
Applications for paid coop placements need to be submitted through the careers section of our website.
Students who are not enrolled in a coop program through their academic institution who are interested in gaining a valuable experience may investigate employment opportunities through the careers section of our website, and/or volunteer opportunities through the volunteer resources section of the website.
