The development of our 5-year strategic plan is back underway after a pause required to respond to COVID-19. Now more than ever, paving a strong path forward is vital to ensuring we continue providing exceptional care to our community.
We want to take the opportunity to thank our patients, families, and community members who offered their feedback through our online survey last winter. We received 100 responses from the community and worked with a community reference panel, both of which gave us insights into what we are doing well and how we can do better.
This work, along with interviews with some partners across the region and the engagement of 1000+ GRH staff, Physicians, and Volunteers has given us significant insight into our planning. Our next steps will be to hold focused sessions with our Senior Team and Board over the coming months to develop an overarching strategy that will identify our goals for the next 10-years, and the work required to enable us to achieve those goals.
