A nurse caring for a stroke patient

Sometimes, an illness or injury may lead to a hospital stay for you to recover and rehabilitate.

GRH’s inpatient rehabilitation program is an intensive, short-term inpatient therapy program. We will help you get back your independence with activities of daily living, quality of life, and a safe return to the community.

We will connect you with a wide range of specialists who will help you recover your function after an illness or injury.

Most of our inpatient rehabilitation is in the Union Terrace wing of GRH’s Freeport Campus on the second floor.

Patients may stay in private, semi-private or ward rooms, and have shared dining and recreational facilities. We are not always able to accommodate room preference.

We welcome visitors as part of the hospital’s visiting policy. Please remember to wash your hands before, during and after your visit. Please avoid visiting if you have symptoms of a cold, influenza or stomach virus.

For general inquiries, you are welcome to call the hospital at 519-749-4300 extension 8318.
