Half-price parking passes: five, 10 and 30 days

GRH provides parking passes for patients, families and visitors in compliance with a Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care directive. Effective August 14, 2023, we are adjusting our rates to support patient care at Grand River Hospital.

Some additional details:

  • The passes represent a 50 per cent discount from our daily rate over a five, 10 and 30 day period;
  • The passes are good for unlimited entries and exits for each day; and
  • The passes are valid for one year from first purchase and can be used for consecutive or non-consecutive days.

Program-specific discounted passes

We offer discounted parking passes for patients and families in the following programs:

How to buy program-specific passes

For KW Campus patients, here is how to get your parking pass:

  1. Please visit your patient care department to start the parking process;
  2. Ask your department for a parking validation slip. It will confirm you are a patient of that department and the rate you are to receive;
  3. Take the validation slip to the Precise parking office located on the first level of the parking garage;
  4. Give your parking validation slip to the Precise parking attendant;
  5. Buy your parking pass (debit and credit accepted);
  6. Receive your parking pass and/or permit.

Please note:

  • The parking pass allows you to park in the garage;
  • You can enter and exit as many times as needed with the parking pass;
  • The parking pass must be inserted at the entry gate to work at the exit gates;
  • Renal and outpatient oncology patients can receive a permit for parking in designated outpatient permit only spots on the first level of the parking garage; and
  • To receive a parking permit, please speak with your department to start the process.

For Freeport Campus patients, here is how to get your parking pass

  1. Please visit your patient care department to start the parking process;

  4. Give your parking validation slip to the Precise parking attendant;
  5. Buy your parking pass (debit and credit accepted); and

  • The parking pass allows you to park in the Freeport main lot;
  • You can enter and exit as many times as needed with the parking pass;
  • The parking pass must be inserted at the entry gate to work at the exit gates;
  • Renal and pulmonary patients can receive a permit for parking in designated outpatient permit only spaces in the Freeport main lot close to the main entrance;
  • To receive a parking permit, please speak with the Precise attendant when purchasing your parking pass.
