We have a number of care and support services to help patients at specialized mental health as well as their families. Here's a brief look at some of them...
Shared recovery planning
The shared recovery plan is a helpful tool that you use to identify your goals and services you may need. The team will help you complete and review this plan with you and others you may identify i.e. family, a support person.
A peer navigator has a lived experience with a mental health issue and knows what it is like. They are here to help you by offering practical advice, emotional support, information and resources. They cannot make decisions about your care but will connect you with staff who can help with these types of issues. You can call the peer navigator at 519-749-4300 ext. 7214 or 7423 or ask a staff member.
