Transcript for: Cancer Care Ontario - Your Voice Matters: A video for patients
00:05
If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, you may need to make regular visits to your cancer centre or hospital for treatment.
00:14
How you feel about your cancer centre or hospital is shaped by all of your interactions with cancer program staff and your healthcare team.
00:23
It’s important to your care team and Cancer Care Ontario to learn what these experiences are like
00:30
from YOUR perspective to better understand how we can improve the
00:35
experience for patients and caregivers at your local centre and across the province.
00:41
“Your Voice Matters” is a set of questions that gives you the chance to share feedback on your experience
00:48
at each step of your visit, from contacting the centre with your questions, to your arrival,
00:54
your interactions with reception or check-in to meeting with your healthcare team, and, how you felt when you left for the day.
01:02
You will be able to share your thoughts about each of these steps, and about your overall experience.
01:08
Everything you tell us will be kept confidential and will not impact your care.
