Waterloo Regional Health Network played host to the wedding of Tricia Snider and Doug Clayfield at the KW Campus on Friday May 5th. Tricia’s father David Gardy took part as a patient of WRHN.

For the weeks of May 8th, 15th and 22nd, GrandLinq will conduct quality assurance work on the ION light rail line on King Street West between Wellington and Union.

WRHN will provide cancer patients with radiation therapy via its fifth linear accelerator, capping off several months of construction, installation and precision testing.

The Waterloo Regional Health Network Volunteer Association has made another enormous contribution to patient care at WRHN. The association has come through with a $160,000 contribution to upgrade WRHN’s wheelchair fleet.

“His seemingly unending kindness in his interactions with patients and staff” has helped WRHN psychiatrist Dr. Abraham Popoola win the hospital’s latest award of excellence. Dr. Popoola supports adult mental health patients at WRHN’s KW Campus through inpatient care as well as in day clinics.

It’s been said the most important thing that someone can give aside from their love is the gift of their time. As we mark National Volunteer Week, we’re pleased to celebrate and thank our volunteers throughout Waterloo Regional Health Network.
